President Bola Tinubu has tasked Nigeria’s security chiefs with improving efficiency in both strategy and operational delivery as the nation continues to confront persistent security challenges.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the President issued the directive on Tuesday during a closed-door meeting with heads of intelligence agencies and service chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The session, which lasted over an hour, focused on assessing ongoing security operations and strengthening coordination among the various agencies.
Briefing State House correspondents after the meeting, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, described the engagement as constructive and forward-looking.

He said the President provided new instructions aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the nationwide security response.
General Oluyede assured Nigerians that the armed forces and security agencies were deepening their collaboration and were committed to ensuring a peaceful and safe festive season.
