Eko Hot Blog reports that the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong, criticised the lawmakers in a Saturday statement issued in Abuja, accusing them of staging yet another switch driven by external influence.

Ememobong insisted that their latest political shift was nothing more than “defecting from APC back into APC,” arguing that they had long abandoned the party structure that brought them into office.

The spokesman encouraged party faithful in Rivers to remain firm as efforts to rebuild the PDP on justice, balance and inclusiveness continue.
