The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Epe Local Branch, has commended the Member representing Epe Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Abiodun Mustain Tobun, for his Mega Food Package Initiative held on December 22, 2025, which benefitted over 10,000 households across the constituency.

Eko Hot Blog reports that speaking on behalf of the council,Com Moibi Ibrahim said the initiative clearly demonstrated responsive and people-oriented leadership, noting that the distribution of 10kg bags of rice, six yards of Ankara fabric, and cash support to beneficiaries came at a critical time for many families.
According to him, “this thoughtful gesture reflects Hon. Tobun’s deep compassion, responsive leadership, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people, especially during this challenging period.”
Moibi Ibrahim stated that the continuous efforts of the lawmaker to support residents have further strengthened trust between leadership and the grassroots, stressing that
“initiatives like this do not only provide immediate relief but also restore hope and reinforce the bond between the people and their representatives.”
He added that Hon. Tobun’s consistency in addressing hardship and promoting social support stands as a clear example of servant leadership, saying,
“your dedication to alleviating hardship and standing with the people at all times has once again shown that true leadership is about service.”
On behalf of the youths of Epe, the NYCN spokesperson expressed gratitude and offered prayers for the lawmaker, saying,
“we sincerely thank you for this impactful and timely intervention, and we pray that Almighty God strengthens you, enlarges your capacity for service, and rewards your kindness with good health, greater wisdom, and more opportunities to serve humanity.”
