EKO HOT BLOG reports that Joshua was discharged late Wednesday night from Lagoon Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, after medical personnel certified him clinically fit to continue his recovery from home.
The fatal accident occurred on Monday along the Lagos Ibadan Expressway when the Lexus SUV conveying Joshua and members of his team crashed into a stationary truck.
Two of Joshua’s associates died in the incident. They were identified as Kevin Latif Ayodele, his personal trainer, and Sina Ghami, his strength and conditioning coach.
Earlier, the Federal Road Safety Corps disclosed that five adult males were involved in the crash. Two fatalities were recorded, one person sustained injuries, while two others escaped unhurt.
According to the FRSC, preliminary investigations attributed the accident to excessive speed and wrongful overtaking, which it described as major contributors to fatal crashes on Nigerian highways.
