- Remi Tinubu urged youths to embrace patience and hard work
- She donated nine buses to the APC Youth Wing
- The APC youths pledged support for the Renewed Hope Agenda
Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has advised young Nigerians to remain committed to their goals and avoid becoming satisfied with minor achievements.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that she gave the advice on Friday while receiving members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Wing at the State House in Abuja, where she also donated nine buses to support the activities of the party’s youth leadership.
According to a statement issued by her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Busola Kukoyi, the First Lady encouraged young people to cultivate patience, hard work, integrity and contentment as key qualities for lasting success.

She noted that many young people often become impatient in their pursuit of success, stressing that perseverance and trust in God are essential.
“God always knows our needs and that is what the young people do not know; they are always in a hurry,” she said.
She also urged them to embrace contentment rather than seeking quick gains.
Using the eagle as an example, Senator Tinubu encouraged the youths to remain resilient in difficult times and focus on creating their own opportunities instead of comparing themselves with others.
“You have to have the eagle’s mentality. When the eagle sees the storm, it rises above it. That is what you should all do. You should always look for your own path and not because someone else has something, you also want it,” she said.
The First Lady commended the APC youth leadership for working together to strengthen the party, especially at the grassroots, and encouraged them to continue promoting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
She said members of the ruling party’s youth wing must remain dedicated to advancing the administration’s vision while contributing to national development.

To support their operations, Senator Tinubu presented nine buses to the APC National Youth Leader, Deputy National Youth Leader, zonal youth leaders and the Federal Capital Territory youth leadership for party activities and community engagement.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, APC National Youth Leader Dayo Israel expressed appreciation for the donation, saying the buses would improve the youth wing’s capacity to reach communities and strengthen mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He described the gesture as a major boost to the organisation’s outreach efforts and pledged the youth wing’s continued commitment to promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.
