Epe Local Government has reminded parents and guardians of the commencement of the Children’s Eye Screening Exercise under its Free Medical, Mental, Dental, and Eye Care Outreach, scheduled to hold tomorrow, Saturday 3rd, and Sunday 4th January, 2026.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the screening exercise will take place at the Epe Local Government Secretariat, with activities expected to begin promptly by 8:00am each day.

The initiative is designed to identify children who may require specialised eye care and possible surgical intervention, as part of efforts to promote early detection and proper treatment of eye-related conditions among children.
Parents and guardians have been advised to bring their children early to fully benefit from the free and professionally conducted screening exercise.
The local government emphasized that the programme aligns with its broader commitment to improving access to quality healthcare and safeguarding the wellbeing of residents, especially children.
