Oyo APC Pledge Massive Votes for Tinubu in 2027

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in the Ogbomoso zone of Oyo State have declared their readiness to deliver overwhelming votes for President Bola Tinubu and the party in the 2027 general elections.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the declaration was made on Thursday, January 8, during a high level unity rally held at Oja’gbo in Ogbomoso, where party leaders, serving and former public office holders, and hundreds of supporters gathered to reaffirm their loyalty to the APC and its leadership.

The rally, led by the Oyo State APC Chairman, Alhaji Olaide Abass, marked a renewed show of unity within the party and signalled a strong resolve to reclaim political dominance in the state ahead of the next elections.

Prominent figures at the event included Senators Abdulfatai Buhari, Sarafadeen Alli, Yunus Akintunde, Ayoade Adeseun and Hosea Agboola. Also present were former Oyo State First Lady and Ambassador designate, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, former Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare, and members of the House of Representatives including Hon Akeem Adeyemi, Hon Aderemi Oseni and Hon Olaminuwonlo Alao Akala.

In his welcome address, Hon Odebunmi described Ogbomoso as a historic stronghold of progressive politics. He assured party members that the APC would intensify grassroots mobilisation and voter engagement across the zone ahead of 2027.

Former Oyo State APC Chairman, Chief Akin Oke, urged members to put aside personal interests and work collectively for the success of the party, insisting that unity remained the party’s strongest asset.

Delivering the keynote address, Senator Teslim Folarin, Oyo State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, charged party faithful to take President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to every ward and community.

“Our gathering today shows that the APC in Oyo State is united, focused and fully prepared for victory in 2027,” Folarin said.

In her remarks, Florence Ajimobi appealed for sustained unity and peaceful coexistence within the party, expressing confidence in the APC’s ability to return to power in the state.

The rally ended with a formal endorsement of President Tinubu for a second term. Hundreds of defectors from other political parties across Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Oriire, Ogo Oluwa and Surulere local government areas were also received into the APC.
