Sources close to the former APC chairman disclosed that his return marks the beginning of a new round of political engagements, particularly centred on developments within Kano State. Ganduje is expected to hold strategic meetings with party leaders, loyalists, and other key stakeholders to assess the shifting political dynamics in the state.
In a statement issued by his Chief of Staff, Muhammad Garba, it was noted that the consultations would focus on strengthening party cohesion and reviewing recent events affecting the APC at both state and national levels.

The statement further revealed that Ganduje would also take part in the APC’s ongoing nationwide electronic membership registration exercise, a digital initiative he introduced during his time as national chairman to modernise the party’s membership system.
According to Garba, the e-registration programme was designed to improve data management, support effective planning, and ensure a transparent and credible membership database across the party.
He added that Ganduje remains committed to reinforcing APC structures and encouraging broad-based dialogue aimed at deepening internal democracy, with particular attention to sustaining the party’s influence in Kano State.
