Popular social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to comments made by reality TV star, Phyna, who described him as a “Very Dirty Boy” and accused him of causing the breakdown of her relationship with actress Iyabo Ojo.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Phyna had claimed that her closeness to VeryDarkMan played a major role in the strain between her and Iyabo Ojo, a claim the influencer has strongly denied in a detailed public response.

VDM expressed deep disappointment over the accusation, insisting that his support for Phyna was always genuine and unconditional. He said he stood by her at different stages of her career, including reposting promotions for her movies and offering guidance on both personal and professional matters.
According to him, he was always accessible whenever Phyna reached out, whether she needed advice, paid promotional support, or help with family-related issues. He stressed that he often listened and offered assistance without expecting anything in return.
VeryDarkMan questioned what personal benefit he gained from the relationship, noting that his actions were driven by loyalty and goodwill rather than self-interest. He maintained that he never exploited his association with her for relevance or gain.
Reflecting on past controversies, the influencer suggested that greed and certain decisions eventually strained the relationship. He added that several individuals who once supported and promoted Phyna have since stepped back as public interest around her declined.
Despite the disagreement, VeryDarkMan said he harbours no bitterness and sincerely wishes Phyna success in her future endeavours, stressing that he prefers peace over prolonged public conflict.
