Benue State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Benjamin Omale, has urged party members to actively participate in the ongoing e-registration exercise, emphasizing that it will strengthen the party and create new opportunities for members.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Omale made the call while inaugurating the APC membership e-registration in his hometown in Ohimini Local Government Area on Saturday.

He described the exercise as more than a routine activity, calling it the foundation for internal democracy, political influence, and future electoral victories.
“Active participation will open multiple opportunities for members and is a key step toward reelecting Governor Hyacinth Alia and President Bola Tinubu in 2027,” Omale stated.

Warning against complacency, he said stakeholders who ignore the process are inadvertently weakening the party at both state and federal levels. “In politics today, data is power.
A party that cannot identify its members cannot protect, mobilize, or defend them. E-registration ensures we have a verified, credible, and digital membership register, which will guide party primaries, appointments, and elections,” he explained.
Omale stressed that membership registration determines who participates in selecting party candidates, who represents the APC, and who benefits from governance. “If your name is not on the APC e-registration database, you are politically invisible,” he added.
He also highlighted that control of the party’s membership equates to control of its future. “This exercise is not just about technology; it is about securing the party for its loyal members. Only APC faithful, not outsiders or opportunists should shape the party’s destiny,” Omale said.

The chairman noted that Governor Hyacinth Alia has fully endorsed the initiative, adding that all party leaders, from ward and local government chairmen to elected and appointed officials, must actively engage in mobilizing members, supervising registration, and ensuring the integrity of the process.
“Every stakeholder must own this exercise. Mobilize your people, register them, and protect the process. A strong, credible membership structure is the backbone of a strong APC,” Omale said.
