In a show of solidarity, respect, and commitment to cultural values, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, joined family members, leaders, and residents at the 40th day prayer ceremony held in honour of the late father of the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Isiaka Yusif Olatunji.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the solemn gathering marked the remembrance of His Royal Majesty, Oba Lamoriu Kayode Isiaka, a respected traditional ruler whose passing has left a deep impact on his community.
The Islamic prayer session, observed in line with religious tradition, provided an avenue for prayers for the peaceful repose of the monarch’s soul and words of comfort for the bereaved family.
Hon. Olowa, while condoling with his Vice Chairman and the entire family, described the late monarch as a man of honour who lived a life of service and dignity, noting that his legacy would continue to inspire future generations.
The ceremony attracted several prominent personalities, including the Member representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola, and the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Hon. Razaq Bamidele Kasali, who both joined in paying their respects.
Also in attendance were political stakeholders, community leaders, religious clerics, and well-wishers from within and outside Ibeju-Lekki, all united in prayers and reflection as they honoured the memory of the departed royal father and stood in support of the family during the period of mourning.
