Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday paid a private visit to former military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (retd.), at his Hill Top residence in Minna, Niger State.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Obasanjo arrived in Minna via the Ahmed Bola Tinubu International Airport, where he was received by officials of the Niger State Government House Protocol and escorted to Babangida’s residence.
Sources said the former president spent about 30 minutes in a closed door meeting with Babangida before departing for the airport.
Details of the discussion were not disclosed, as no official statement was issued by either Obasanjo or Babangida at the time of filing this report.
The visit comes amid intensified political consultations across the country ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Obasanjo had recently hosted leaders and key figures from several opposition political parties at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, a development that has continued to fuel political speculation.
