Eko Hot Blog reports that accompanied by some of his aides, the federal lawmaker commenced the inspection at Pobo Market, Poka, where the Phase II expansion project is nearing completion. The expansion includes 24 semi lock-up shops, bringing the total number of shops in the market complex to 72.
In preparation for the commissioning scheduled for later this month, Rep. Raji directed the contractors to ensure that all shops are completed to high standards and delivered in excellent condition for traders and customers.
“These projects must be completed to specification and in a manner that truly serves our people,” Raji said during the inspection.
The inspection team later proceeded to Pobuna Secondary School, where attention was drawn to a previously stalled project involving the construction of a storey building comprising 12 classrooms, offices and furniture.
Contractors on site confirmed that work has fully resumed, with construction activities accelerated to meet the delivery timeline.
The project contractor assured that the facility would be completed by April, adding that all materials required for the final phase of construction are already on ground.
The inspection visit highlights Rep. Raji’s development-focused representation, which places strong emphasis on monitoring, quality assurance and accountability beyond project facilitation.
From boosting commercial activities through modern market infrastructure to strengthening the education sector with improved learning facilities, the projects are expected to deliver lasting socioeconomic impact for residents of Eredo LCDA and the wider Epe Federal Constituency.
