The Lagos State leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in collaboration with Local Government Area party chairmen and Local Government Council chairmen, has held a series of strategic meetings to review the party’s progress and set the tone for forthcoming activities.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the meetings critically assessed the performance of the party during the recently concluded e-registration exercise, which recorded significant participation across the state. Party leaders noted that the exercise reflected the APC’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and strengthened grassroots mobilisation.
Speaking during the meeting, party leaders described the exercise as a milestone in membership growth.
“The level of participation recorded during the e-registration exercise shows that the APC remains the party of the people and is fully connected to the grassroots,” one of the leaders stated.
Discussions also focused on early preparations for upcoming party congresses at all levels, including ward, local government, state, zonal, and national conventions, in line with the national timetable.
The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Chairman of Conference 57, Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, actively participated in the deliberations, reinforcing collaboration between the party structure and local government leadership.
“Our strength as a party lies in unity and proper coordination from the grassroots to the state level, and that is what these meetings are reinforcing,” Hon. Olowa said.
He further emphasized the importance of early planning to ensure a seamless congress process.
“We are committed to thorough preparation to guarantee transparency, orderliness, and success in all forthcoming party congresses,” he added.
The Lagos APC leadership reaffirmed its resolve to leave no stone unturned in positioning the party for continued success, deeper membership engagement, and sustained grassroots mobilisation across the state.
