The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Hon. Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has approved the distribution of 200 free JAMB UTME forms to indigent residents and indigenes of Ikosi-Ejinrin ahead of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the initiative is aimed at reducing the financial burden on families and expanding access to tertiary education for qualified students within the council area.
Speaking on the intervention, Hon. Anomo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to youth development and educational advancement.
“Education remains the most powerful tool we can give to our young people. This gesture is not just about forms; it is about securing their future,” he said.
He further stressed that the council will continue to prioritize initiatives that promote academic excellence.
“We are investing in dreams. We want our students to compete confidently with their peers across Nigeria and come out successful,” he added.
