Residents of Noforija in Epe Local Government Area were thrown into panic following the apprehension of a suspected armed individual opposite the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Noforija campus.

Eko Hot Blog reports that according to eyewitness accounts, two individuals allegedly armed with cutlasses were spotted in the area under circumstances residents considered suspicious. While one of the individuals reportedly escaped, the other was apprehended by members of the community.
The incident attracted a large crowd as residents gathered at the scene to ascertain what had transpired. Witnesses claimed that during questioning, the apprehended suspect allegedly made statements suggesting involvement in criminal activities, although such claims have not been independently verified by security agencies.
Sources at the scene further disclosed that the suspect repeatedly appealed to residents to hand him over to the police for proper investigation and processing.
The development has generated concern among residents, many of whom expressed surprise that such an incident could occur in the usually peaceful Noforija community.
