President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday arrived in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State capital, to commission key infrastructure projects executed by the state government.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the President was received by top government officials, traditional rulers and political leaders before proceeding to inaugurate the newly constructed Kebbi State Secretariat Complex and an ultra modern motor park.
Tinubu formally commissioned the state secretariat, describing the complex as a critical administrative hub designed to strengthen governance and enhance public service delivery across the state.
He also inaugurated the ultra modern motor park in Birnin Kebbi, a facility expected to improve transport coordination, ease passenger movement and stimulate commercial activities within and beyond the state.
The projects are part of the Kebbi State Government’s broader infrastructure development plan aimed at driving economic growth and improving institutional efficiency.
Governors from Sokoto and other states, alongside other high profile dignitaries, attended the event and are expected to accompany the President to the fishing arena.
Tinubu is scheduled to officially declare open the International Fishing Festival, regarded as one of Kebbi State’s major cultural and tourism events.
Meanwhile, the fishing arena was filled to capacity as residents, tourists and visitors gathered ahead of the commencement of the festival.
