In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Djokovic shared that the desire to compete on the sport’s biggest stages continues to fuel his passion.

“I’d obviously love to win at least one more Grand Slam, stay healthy, and keep playing for years to come,” he said.
However, Djokovic also expressed excitement for life beyond tennis. “I’m really interested in seeing how tennis evolves and being part of that change while still an active player,” he added.
The 35-year-old is looking forward to balancing his professional aspirations with his personal life, especially as a father.
“Being there for my children’s goals is important to me, especially since I travel so much. My family is a huge part of my life, and I want to be present for them.”

Beyond tennis, Djokovic has plans for numerous professional projects. He highlighted his interest in wellness, longevity, and physical and mental health as areas where he feels he still has much to contribute.
“I’m passionate about these areas and feel that I can make a real difference,” he said.
While Djokovic remains deeply focused on his career, he admitted to reflecting on moments of regret, whether on the court or in his personal life. “When I lose a match, I think about what I could have done differently.

In life, it’s the same. We all have moments when we think we could have done better,” he said. “I can’t deny having regrets, but I don’t dwell on them.”
Djokovic continues to be a dominant force in tennis, having reached the semi-finals in his last five Grand Slam appearances.
His next scheduled tournament is the Mutua Madrid Open, which will take place from April 22 to May 3, 2026, following his withdrawal from both the Miami Open and the Monte-Carlo Masters due to a shoulder injury.
