EKO HOT BLOG reports that the defending champions made a strong start in Bavaria and took the lead just three minutes into the match. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia broke through the Bayern defence after receiving a precise pass from Fabián Ruiz before setting up Ousmane Dembélé, who fired a first-time strike into the roof of the net.
Bayern responded with attacking pressure as Luis Díaz and Michael Olise both missed chances, while manager Vincent Kompany reacted angrily after a penalty appeal was dismissed following a handball incident involving João Neves.
The German side continued to push forward but were repeatedly denied by PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, who produced a key save to stop Jamal Musiala late in the first half.
At the other end, Manuel Neuer kept Bayern in contention with important saves from Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué as PSG tightened defensively after the break.
Harry Kane scored a stoppage-time equaliser, netting his 14th goal of the campaign, but the strike proved insufficient to prevent Bayern’s elimination.
The result extends Bayern’s disappointing semi-final record, with the club still chasing a first European Cup final appearance in years.

PSG are now one victory away from retaining the UEFA Champions League title. Coach Luis Enrique, who previously won the competition with FC Barcelona, will lead the French side into his third Champions League final as a manager on May 30, 2026.
