According to President Trump, the visit is scheduled to take place from April 27 to 30, with a formal state banquet planned at the White House on April 28.
He expressed enthusiasm about hosting the British monarch, noting that he holds the King in high regard and looks forward to their time together alongside First Lady Melania Trump.

Although a detailed itinerary has yet to be released, King Charles is also expected to address the US Congress during the visit.
Buckingham Palace said the trip will highlight both the longstanding historical ties and the modern diplomatic relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States, particularly as America celebrates its 250th anniversary of independence this year.
Following the US visit, the King will make a stop in Bermuda, a British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic.

The announcement comes amid recent tensions between both countries over the ongoing Iran conflict. Shortly before confirmation of the visit, Trump criticised the UK and other allies over their stance, urging them to secure their own oil supplies and suggesting the US would no longer provide support.
Despite these differences, both sides have continued diplomatic engagement. Trump previously described his visit to Windsor Castle last year as an honour and praised his personal rapport with King Charles.
There is also speculation that the monarch could meet his son, Prince Harry, who resides in the US, although this has not been confirmed.

The planned visit has sparked mixed reactions in the UK, with some political figures questioning its timing due to ongoing global tensions and past disagreements between Trump and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Nevertheless, preparations for the trip have continued, with the UK government appearing keen to use the visit to strengthen diplomatic relations and ease strains between both nations.
