EKO HOT BLOG reports that participants at the meeting expressed confidence in the President’s policies and ongoing reforms, citing them as key reasons for endorsing his potential re election bid.
Among those in attendance was the Minister of Police Affairs, Ibrahim Geidam, alongside other government officials and party executives.
Speaking at the gathering, Governor Mai Mala Buni reflected on the political evolution of the state.
He said that prior to 2015, Yobe was not aligned with any major national political platform, noting that the formation of the APC through a merger of parties created an opportunity for the state to be part of the national government.
According to him, the state has recorded gains from its association with the ruling party since 2015, particularly in efforts aimed at rebuilding and recovery from past challenges.
Buni added that the relationship with the APC-led federal government had contributed to development initiatives in the state.

He called on residents to sustain their support for the party and back President Tinubu in the next election cycle.
