- Former Senate Chief Whip and prominent erstwhile opposition leader, Hosea Agboola, has formally aligned with the movement, citing the need for national stability over fragmented opposition.
On Sunday as high-ranking party leaders and stakeholders converged at Oke-Bola, Ibadan, to unveil a new campaign headquarters dedicated to the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Ambassador Adeleke emphasized that the movement is a deliberate call for continuity and stability, designed to ensure that current economic and institutional reforms are allowed to mature.
“Today is about reinforcing a shared commitment to progress,” Adeleke stated, urging party members to prioritize collective goals over personal ambitions to ensure a cohesive front ahead of the next general election.
The gathering featured notable defections and endorsements, most notably from Senator Hosea Agboola, a former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Agboola, who recently left his former party, described the opposition as “fragmented and disconnected,” arguing that the current administration is making the difficult but necessary decisions required for long-term national development.
His alignment with the pro-Tinubu movement signals a strengthening of the ruling party’s structure within the state.
Parallel to the presidential mobilization, the event also served as a platform for regional legislative ambitions.

Remi Oseni, a current member of the House of Representatives, formally declared his intention to contest the Oyo South Senatorial seat in 2027.
Oseni, who has built a formidable political structure across the state, pledged to deliver over one million votes for the President while continuing his own mission of service and infrastructural development.
As the 2027 transition begins to take shape, the Ibadan launch underscores a focused effort by the party to secure its stronghold in the region early.
