These movements were triggered by the formal entry of Senator Kwankwaso and Peter Obi into the NDC.
Both leaders were captured on video receiving their party membership cards after a closed-door meeting at the Abuja residence of the NDC National Leader, Seriake Dickson.

This emerging coalition is viewed by analysts as a significant realignment of opposition forces intended to challenge the status quo in the 2027 general elections.

The formal announcements for Gwarzo and Gawuna are expected shortly, marking a definitive turn in the state’s political dynamics as actors reposition for the next electoral cycle.
