Oshiomhole claimed that Atiku had effectively become the APC’s “best campaign manager” because of his criticisms of Peter Obi.
He also pointed to exchanges involving Obi and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, saying the opposition leaders were busy attacking one another instead of presenting a united front.

According to the senator, Amaechi had dismissed both Atiku and Obi as regional politicians while portraying himself as a national figure, though Oshiomhole questioned his political strength at the grassroots level.
The APC chieftain expressed confidence that opposition parties and any coalition they form ahead of 2027 would ultimately fail at the polls.
He challenged opposition leaders to clearly state which policies introduced by President Bola Tinubu they intend to reverse if elected into office.
Oshiomhole specifically mentioned key reforms such as fuel subsidy removal, tax reforms and the student loan programme, insisting that the opposition had not offered Nigerians any concrete alternative agenda.

He accused opposition politicians of being driven mainly by the quest for power rather than policy-based governance.
The senator also defended Tinubu’s administration, saying the President had taken difficult but necessary economic decisions aimed at restructuring and stabilising the country’s economy.
