One of the aspirants in the House of Representatives primary election for Epe Federal Constituency, BIA Eruobodo, yesterday challenged collation officials over alleged irregularities reported in Ward M1 during the exercise.

According to reports from the collation centre, Eruobodo raised concerns and strongly complained about what he described as desperate actions and irregularities that affected the credibility of the voting process in the ward.
The situation reportedly caused tension among supporters and party stakeholders present at the venue as officials reviewed the complaints and reports from Ward M1.
Following the protest and further deliberations by party officials, the election process in Ward M1 was eventually cancelled pending further decisions by the party leadership.
Party stakeholders and security personnel later intervened to restore calm while urging supporters of all aspirants to remain peaceful and allow due process to prevail.
The development became one of the major talking points during the primary election exercise across the constituency.
