The result marked a significant milestone for Ronaldo, who had not lifted a major club league trophy since his Juventus Serie A triumph in 2020. The 41-year-old, visibly emotional, watched the closing moments from the bench as his side confirmed the title.

Al-Nassr had taken control early in the match with a two-goal advantage, but Damac briefly pulled one back before Ronaldo restored control with his 63rd-minute set-piece goal that curled beyond the goalkeeper and into the corner.
He later sealed the victory nine minutes from time, reacting quickly inside the box to smash home a cut-back and complete a memorable brace.
The triumph adds the Saudi league crown to Ronaldo’s decorated career, which already includes league titles in England, Spain and Italy, as well as multiple UEFA Champions League trophies.

Since joining Al-Nassr in 2023 following his exit from Manchester United, Ronaldo has played a central role in raising the profile of Saudi football, attracting global attention alongside other high-profile arrivals in the league.
He was also recently named in Portugal’s squad for what will be another attempt to win the FIFA World Cup, further extending his international career.
Ronaldo, who remains one of football’s most prolific scorers, continues to chase the milestone of 1,000 career goals as his Saudi spell progresses.
