The presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress for the 2027 election, Peter Obi, has appealed to those holding abducted schoolchildren across the country to release them and allow them to return safely to their families.
In a statement shared on his X account on Wednesday, Eko Hot Blog gathered that the Obi expressed deep concern over reports and images showing the condition of some kidnapped children, describing the situation as distressing and a reflection of Nigeria’s worsening security challenges.
