He explained that these funds give the FCT Administration the structural financial capacity to continuously construct durable roadways. Vice President Kashim Shettima represented the President at the high-profile ceremony.
The freshly commissioned road forms a vital transport corridor linking Life Camp Junction directly to Ring Road III.
The President recalled that during the commissioning of an earlier section of the road in 2025, his administration made a solemn pledge not to leave the strategic transit artery half-done.
He stated that the successful completion of the Dape District section serves as clear evidence that the Renewed Hope Agenda rejects the culture of abandoned projects.
Tinubu noted that the road project, which was awarded in October 2024, was delivered entirely on schedule.
It will seamlessly connect growing residential communities like Karmo, Gwarinpa, Kado, Mbora, and Dape, while opening up a smooth gateway to the bustling Idu Industrial District to generate employment opportunities.
During the event, President Tinubu highly commended FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his relentless executive drive.
