The Media Aide to the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Bin Usman Rano, has approved the appointment of seven individuals into various advisory and support roles within his office.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to Rano, the appointments are part of efforts to strengthen the operational capacity of the office and improve engagement with key stakeholders across different sectors.
The appointments were announced in a statement shared via his Facebook page.
Those appointed include Abubakar Alhassan Muhammad Lale as Personal Assistant, Umar Bashir Umar as Special Adviser on Protocol, and Abdullahi Muhammad Ghali as Special Adviser on Media.
Others are Bashir Ibrahim Sisay as Special Adviser on Student Matters, Najeeb Garba Lawan Rano as Special Adviser on Youth and Sports, Yusuf Tijjani YT Rano as Special Adviser on Special Duties, and Muhammad Uzairu as Special Adviser on Religious Affairs.
Rano said the appointments followed a careful assessment of the individuals’ integrity, commitment to public service, and previous contributions in their respective fields.
“The appointments are aimed at strengthening the operational capacity of the office and enhancing effective engagement with stakeholders across different sectors, particularly youths, students, religious groups, and the media,” he stated.
He congratulated the newly appointed officials and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through dedicated service.
Rano also charged the appointees to carry out their responsibilities with professionalism, loyalty, diligence, and a strong sense of duty.

The appointments take immediate effect and are expected to support the office’s outreach and stakeholder engagement efforts across the Federal Capital Territory.
