As political activities continue to gather momentum ahead of future electoral engagements, political support groups across Epe Division have intensified consultations and grassroots mobilization efforts aimed at strengthening their structures and expanding support bases.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in line with this objective, members of the Tinubu-Hamzat Epe Division Solidarity Front (THEDSF), a prominent youth-driven political organization in Epe Division, paid a courtesy visit to the Paramount Ruler of Noforija Kingdom, HRM Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja Aladeshoyin, on Saturday, June 21, 2026.
The visit was aimed at seeking royal blessings, guidance, and fatherly counsel as the group continues its mobilization activities across communities within Epe Division.
Speaking during the visit, the Director-General of THEDSF, Comrade Giwa Moshood Olasupo, popularly known as GMO, explained that the organization was established by progressive-minded individuals committed to promoting good governance, political participation, and sustainable development in Lagos State and Nigeria.
According to him, the group remains dedicated to mobilizing support for the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
GMO stated that THEDSF’s vision extends beyond electoral support, noting that the organization is committed to deepening political awareness, encouraging youth participation, and promoting grassroots engagement across Epe Division.
He emphasized that the group is particularly focused on rallying support for Dr. Hamzat, whom he described as a capable and experienced leader with the vision and competence required to advance the developmental aspirations of Lagos State.
“Our mission is to galvanize support for progressive leadership and ensure that the dividends of democracy continue to reach our people. We believe in the leadership qualities, competence, and developmental vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat,” GMO said.
He further called on youths across Epe Division and Lagos State to embrace constructive political participation and become active stakeholders in the democratic process.
Responding, the Paramount Ruler of Noforija Kingdom, HRM Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja Aladeshoyin, commended the members of THEDSF for their peaceful and organized approach to political engagement.
The monarch expressed support for youth involvement in nation-building and urged young people to remain focused, responsible, and committed to activities that promote peace, development, and social progress.
Oba Aladeshoyin also reflected on the political journey and leadership style of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a leader whose contributions to democratic governance and human capital development have positively impacted many lives across the country.
While encouraging greater youth participation in politics, the royal father advised young people to reject violence, thuggery, and other anti-social activities, stressing that lasting political and societal progress can only be achieved through peaceful dialogue, responsible leadership, and constructive engagement.
He subsequently offered royal prayers and blessings for the success of the group and prayed for continued peace, unity, and development across Noforija Kingdom, Epe Division, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole.
The visit forms part of THEDSF’s ongoing stakeholder engagement and consultation efforts as the organization continues to interact with traditional institutions, community leaders, and other critical stakeholders across Epe Division.
