Only the pilot was onboard, and he died in the crash. Officials did not immediately disclose the cause of the accident.

Authorities said those injured are currently receiving medical treatment.
Images from the scene showed limited damage to the skyscraper’s exterior, with a section of glass façade broken and temporarily covered.
The aircraft reportedly hit CITIC Tower, also known as China Zun, a 528-metre landmark in Beijing’s central business district, located not far from major political and tourist sites.

The crash is considered highly unusual in Beijing, where airspace is tightly controlled. It comes shortly after the city imposed stricter rules on drone usage without official permission due to security concerns.
Investigations are ongoing to determine how the aircraft came down in such a restricted zone.
