The Lagos State Police Command has arrested 150 suspects and recovered firearms, illicit drugs, suspected stolen property and 100 unregistered motorcycles during a coordinated raid on criminal hideouts in the Igando and Idimu areas of the state.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the command disclosed this in a statement issued on Monday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi.

According to the statement, the operation was carried out under the ongoing Operation KO S’AYE, targeting criminal hideouts at Boolar, Oko Filling Bus Stop, Igando, and other identified black spots within the Area M, Idimu axis.
The raid, conducted at about 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, followed credible intelligence and involved a joint team of operatives drawn from various formations of the Lagos State Police Command.
“As part of the ongoing Operation KO S’AYE, the Lagos State Police Command has sustained its aggressive clearance operations against criminal hideouts across the state, in line with the Command’s commitment to ensuring that there is no safe haven for criminals,” the statement said.
Items recovered during the operation include 100 unregistered motorcycles, 54 mobile phones, one double-barrel gun, two single-barrel guns, one locally made double-barrel shotgun, two military camouflage uniforms, assorted charms, six generators suspected to have been stolen, substances suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs.
The police said all 150 suspects are currently in custody while investigations continue to determine their level of involvement in criminal activities.
It added that suspects found culpable would be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, commended officers who participated in the operation for their professionalism and dedication.

He reaffirmed the command’s commitment to sustaining Operation KO S’AYE across the state to dismantle criminal hideouts, deny criminals safe haven and ensure the safety of residents.
