Rotary International District 9112 celebrated humanitarian service and leadership renewal with the installation of Rotarian Layi Abidoye as District Governor for the 2026/2027 Rotary year at Harbour Point Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the ceremony also honoured Ambassador Abosede Esther Ogundele with the Pillar of Service (Opomulero) Award for her outstanding contributions to community service.
Speaking after his installation, Layi Abidoye pledged to deepen Rotary’s humanitarian efforts, while outgoing District Governor Rotarian Lanre Adedoyin, FCIA, applauded members for their support during his tenure.
The event featured goodwill messages and entertainment by Fuji musician Adewale Ayuba.
