The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and his wife, Olori Oluwatosin Ogunwusi, have welcomed a baby girl, bringing joy to the royal household.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the announcement was made in a statement released by the monarch’s Senior Media Officer, Sodiq Lawal, on behalf of the royal family.

The statement expressed gratitude to God for the successful delivery, describing the newborn princess as a cherished addition to the House of Oduduwa.
According to the palace, the Ooni thanked Almighty God for His grace and mercy, noting that both mother and child are in good health.
The monarch also offered prayers for the infant, asking that she be blessed with wisdom, favour, honour and a fulfilling life.
He further prayed for God’s continued guidance, protection and abundant peace over the royal family and the House of Oduduwa.
Meanwhile, the palace has dismissed reports claiming the Ooni recently conferred a chieftaincy title on Nollywood actor and comedian James Olanrewaju, popularly known as Baba Ijesha.
In a separate statement issued by the Director of Media and Public Affairs at the palace, Otunba Moses Olafare, the palace clarified that Baba Ijesha only paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni alongside his wife to celebrate the birth of their son.
During the visit, the monarch presented the actor with a brand-new vehicle and a cash gift as a gesture of goodwill and fatherly support.
The palace stressed that the gifts were acts of generosity and should not be interpreted as the conferment of any traditional title.
