The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 40-year-old man, Peter Sinamai, over the alleged killing of his biological father in Sangere, Gombi Local Government Area of the state.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the suspect was arrested following a report received by the police concerning the alleged killing.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said preliminary investigations indicated that Sinamai allegedly killed his father and disposed of his body in a well within the neighbourhood.
He said police operatives recovered the deceased’s body from the well and deposited it at a mortuary for autopsy.
Nguroje said the Commissioner of Police, CP Kabiru Umar Hassan, had ordered a thorough investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“The corpse has been recovered and deposited at the mortuary for autopsy,” he stated.
The police spokesperson added that the suspect would be charged to court upon the completion of the investigation.
