Osun State Governor and Accord Party candidate, Ademola Adeleke, has alleged that the All Progressives Congress (APC) planned to illegally bypass the established electoral collation process.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Adeleke raised the allegation shortly after casting his vote at Sagba Abogunde Ward 2, Unit 9, in Ede North Local Government Area of the state.
The governor said he had received information that the APC was planning to avoid the normal collation process from polling units to wards and then to local government areas.
He said, “I have it on authority that they don’t want to go through the normal process from units to ward and to local government.”
Adeleke also alleged that a police officer identified as “London” from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, had been brought into Osun to cause unrest and disrupt the governorship election.
The governor called on the Inspector General of Police and other security agencies to monitor the situation and take necessary action.
He added, “I want the Inspector-General of Police and all the security agencies to watch out, to be on the lookout for a police officer from Port Harcourt.”
Violence Disrupts Voting in Ejigbo
Meanwhile, voting was disrupted in Ejigbo, Osun State, after violence broke out at a polling unit during the ongoing governorship election.
Video footage from the scene showed voters, residents and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission fleeing the area as tension escalated.
INEC officials and residents were seen running in different directions and moving away from the polling area as they attempted to escape the situation.
Motorcycles and vehicles were also seen moving through the area as residents fled the unfolding situation.
The immediate cause of the violence was not immediately clear.
Details of possible casualties or damage resulting from the incident were also not immediately available.
The Osun State governorship election is ongoing across the state, with voters casting their ballots at polling units.
