The Tinubu-Hamzat Epe Division Solidarity Front (THEDSF) has felicitated with His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, Alara of Ilara Kingdom, on the occasion of his sixth coronation anniversary and the attainment of a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Lagos State University (LASU).
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a congratulatory message, the group described the monarch’s dual achievements as milestones worthy of celebration, noting that his commitment to scholarship, leadership and service has continued to distinguish his reign.
THEDSF said Oba Ogunsanwo had demonstrated that traditional leadership in the modern era should go beyond the prestige of the throne and embrace knowledge, intellectual development and purposeful service to the people.
The group noted that the monarch’s academic achievement was particularly inspiring to young people, as it demonstrated that traditional leadership and academic excellence could work together in promoting transformative development.
According to THEDSF, the Alara’s six years on the throne have been marked by peace, progress and purposeful leadership, expressing confidence that his latest academic accomplishment would further strengthen his contribution to the development of Ilara Kingdom and Epe Division.
“You have demonstrated that the crown is not merely a symbol of authority, but also a call to intellectual rigour, service and continuous self-development,” the group said.
THEDSF described the monarch as “a Royal Scholar, a Crowned Intellectual and a beacon of progressive leadership,” while praying for continued wisdom, sound health, strength and divine guidance for him.
The group also expressed optimism that the Alara would continue to use his experience, knowledge and position to advance the welfare of his people and leave an enduring legacy for generations to come.
“Congratulations, Kabiyesi, on your Sixth Coronation Anniversary and on the attainment of your Doctorate Degree!” THEDSF declared.
The group concluded its message with a traditional prayer for the monarch, saying, “Ki Adé pe lórí, ki bàtà pe lẹ́sẹ̀, ki ìmọ̀ sì máa gbooro sí!”
