Super Falcons defender Tosin Demehin has announced her departure from Turkish Women’s Super Lig side Galatasaray after two seasons with the club.
The Nigerian international joined Galatasaray from French club Stade de Reims in 2024 on a one year contract.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that her performances earned her an extension as she established herself as a regular in the team.
Demehin, however, leaves the Turkish club without another league title after Galatasaray’s championship winning campaign in the 2023/24 season.
The former Rivers Angels defender confirmed her exit in a message shared on Instagram, thanking the club and its supporters for their support during her time in Turkey.
“Thank you, Galatasaray, for an incredible chapter. It has been an honour to wear this badge and represent this great club. I leave with great respect, gratitude, pride and unforgettable memories. Wishing the club continued success,” she said.
The 23 year old has not announced her next destination.
Her departure comes as clubs across Europe prepare for the new season, with the defender expected to attract interest following her performances for both club and country.
Demehin recently represented Nigeria at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where the Super Falcons reached the quarter finals.
Nigeria’s campaign ended at that stage, with the team also missing out on qualification for the World Cup play offs.
Demehin was sent off during Nigeria’s second group match against Zambia after receiving a red card.
Despite playing with 10 players, the Super Falcons secured a 1-0 victory in the encounter.
The defender now enters the next stage of her career as she searches for a new club following the end of her two year spell with Galatasaray.
