The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has launched a new support initiative aimed at mobilising grassroots backing for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Eko Hot Blog reports that as part of the initiative, the party inaugurated a 30-man committee tasked with coordinating activities and galvanising support for the re-election aspirations of the President and the Cross River State governor.

The committee is expected to take the party’s mobilisation efforts to communities across the state and strengthen support for the APC at the grassroots level.
Party leaders said the initiative was designed to consolidate the achievements of the current administration and ensure that supporters remained actively engaged ahead of the next election cycle.
The launch comes as political parties and support groups across the country begin preparations for the 2027 general elections.
