In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, the governor reassured citizens that security mechanisms are firmly in place to protect voters throughout the exercise.
Accompanying the governor on the campaign trail was international music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, alongside top chieftains of the Imole Campaign Council.
Addressing crowds at campaign rallies in both Ijesha communities, Adeleke urged supporters to expand voter mobilization across all wards and reject intimidation tactics from opposition forces.
Welcoming the campaign team, Oba Adeleke Oke praised the governor’s administrative track record over the past four years, organizing interfaith prayer sessions for a successful outcome in the polls.
The monarch expressed confidence that the electorate in his kingdom remains committed to supporting continuity and further developmental projects across the state.
