The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has debunked reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed a list of the party’s state chairmen.
According to Eko Hot Blog, In a statement issued, National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi described the report as “fake news” and the work of individuals trying to create confusion within the party.

Abdullahi stated that INEC had neither officially nor unofficially confirmed any such list. He reiterated that the process of appointing and ratifying state leadership is strictly an internal party matter.

The spokesman urged party members and stakeholders to remain calm and vigilant, advising them to rely only on official communication from the national leadership.
He stressed that the strength of any political movement lies in its discipline, structure, and fidelity.
ADC Leader in Akwa Ibom State, Senator John Akpanudoedehe, spoke about the party’s strategy for the future. He stated that only a “coalition platform” can unseat the ruling APC in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
Speaking at the weekend during the official launch of the ADC in the state, Akpanudoedehe urged party leaders and supporters to unite and work toward victory.
