Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has opened up about his deep commitment to family, declaring that his wife, Simi, and their daughter, Adejare, remain the most important part of his life.

Speaking on the NotJustOk podcast, the ‘Orente’ crooner explained that he draws inspiration for his music from his family, noting that his song My Love Is The Same reflects his dedication to being a responsible father.
He stated that his biggest goal is to ensure his daughter enjoys a comfortable and fulfilling childhood. According to him, fatherhood has changed his perspective on life and pushed him to work harder.
“All I want is to do more for my daughter because I can’t afford to raise her the way I grew up. It has to be much better,” he said.
Adekunle Gold further stressed that family remains at the core of everything he does. “My family is my centre. I don’t joke with them.
I can afford to be a failed musician, but I will never be a failed father or husband. That is not negotiable for me,” he added.
