Eko hot blog reports that In a shocking turn of events, popular Awka comedian Aiza Nwosu found himself caught in an accident alongside three bystanders at the bustling Aroma junction.
Nwosu, known for his lively persona and vibrant presence in Awka, was driving his van, adorned with loudspeakers blaring music, when tragedy struck.
Eyewitnesses described the harrowing scene as Nwosu’s van, en route from Aroma towards the Government House, collided with individuals waiting for buses at the junction.
The accident, attributed to brake failure, resulted in multiple injuries, including those of a tricycle rider, who were promptly rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention.
Upon reaching the accident site, officials from the Awka Capital Territory Development Agency (ACTDA) swiftly intervened, dismantling some of the music equipment attached to Nwosu’s vehicle to prevent vandalism.
While onlookers remained tight-lipped, an ACTDA representative acknowledged the severity of the situation, expressing bewilderment at the sudden turn of events.
“We just got here. We were in the office when we were called to move fast about this emergency.
I cannot explain how it happened,” the official stated, emphasizing the urgency of the situation.
Despite the chaos, there was a collective relief knowing that Nwosu survived the ordeal and was promptly transported to receive medical treatment.
As the authorities made arrangements to tow the damaged vehicle to their office, the scene bore witness to the aftermath of the accident, with shattered windshields serving as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of life on the road.
