Motorcyclist Killed as Overspeeding Mercedes Crashes into Pharmacy in Ibadan (PHOTOS)

- A commercial motorcyclist died when a speeding Mercedes crashed into a pharmacy in Ibadan, Oyo State.
- The accident occurred around 2 pm on Saturday at Osuntokun Junction, New Bodija, damaging the pharmacy and two parked vehicles.
- The car’s driver sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the University College Hospital, while the motorcyclist’s body was deposited at the UCH morgue.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Saturday at Osuntokun Junction, opposite a commercial bank in the New Bodija area. The vehicle crashed into a pharmacy, causing extensive damage to the building.

In addition to the destruction of the pharmacy, two other cars parked outside were also damaged. The driver of the Mercedes sustained serious injuries and was quickly taken to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan.
The body of the motorcyclist, who was found inside the pharmacy, has been moved to the UCH morgue for further proceedings.

According to reports, the trailer lost control after its brakes failed, and it veered off the road, plowing into the house where the victims were.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with debris and rubble scattered across the area. Local authorities confirmed that the victims, including men, women, and children, were inside the house at the time of the crash.
