She encouraged reflection, renewal, and repentance, stating that the end of Ramadan should not mean the end of righteousness.

“We should not go back to old habits,” she said. “Let the end of Ramadan be the beginning of a new life. Whatever good we have done during this period, let us continue with it.

Let us leave our past behind and embrace a life of righteousness and compassion.”

Echoing her message, Alhaji Ojikutu noted that Ramadan is not just a time-bound religious exercise but a period meant to ignite lasting personal change.

He advised everyone to “use the lessons of Ramadan to realign with God and live better lives beyond the fasting period.”

Alhaja Adéọlá Lawal also delivered a passionate message on love and unity. Reflecting on the overlap of Ramadan and Lent this year, she said, “God intentionally aligned both holy seasons to remind us that He values unity and love among His creation. Let us use this as a sign to love one another regardless of our religious differences.”
