Anambra Primary Election : APC Aspirants to Pay N50m for Expression of Interest Form

- Delegates who will elect the APC party’s candidate, must purchase a form for N5,000 and meet certain criteria to be eligible.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the schedule for its off-cycle Anambra State governorship election, with the primary set to take place on March 29.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the decision was made during a National Working Committee (NWC) meeting, where the party also determined that aspirants would need to pay N50 million for the expression of interest and nomination forms.

“Female aspirants and Persons Living with Disabilities (PWD), aspirants are to purchase the nomination forms free, while youths under the ages between 25 to 40 are to purchase the forms with 50 per cent discount.
All the nomination forms will be available for purchase at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja,” the schedule noted.
The national leadership of the APC announced the requirements for delegates to participate in the upcoming Anambra State governorship primary.
Delegates, who will elect the party’s candidate, must purchase a form for N5,000 and meet certain criteria to be eligible.
Delegates must be financially up-to-date and have been members of the APC for at least three months prior to the delegate congress.
Additionally, they must pay a monthly fee of N200. The purchase of nomination forms will commence on Monday, February 10, and conclude on Tuesday, February 25.
