Anambra: Voting Yet To Start In Parts Of Ihiala 4 Hours After Commencement

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the supplementary governorship election in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State is being affected by poor logistics as voting has not commenced in many parts hours after polls were supposed to open.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had scheduled the exercise for 10am to 4pm but as of 2pm, electoral materials had reportedly not arrived some polling units.

According to Daily Trust, ad-hoc INEC officials were seen at the Ihiala Local Government secretariat at midday struggling to convey materials meant for their polling stations.
The governorship election was declared inconclusive because no ballot was cast at Ihiala, which has over 140,000 registered voters.
