Party leaders and stakeholders at all levels, national, zonal, state, and ward, are also expected, as the party prepares to elect a new set of executives.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, revealed these details during a media briefing held at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja.
He explained that the convention’s theme, “Unity in Progress: Consolidating the Renewed Hope Agenda,” reflects the party’s current direction and priorities.
According to him, the gathering will serve multiple purposes, including leadership elections, policy discussions, and strategic planning for the party’s future. It will also offer an opportunity to assess past achievements and align party leadership with the administration’s broader policy goals.

Idris assured that all necessary arrangements have been finalized to ensure a smooth, transparent, and credible exercise at Eagle Square, where the convention will take place. He added that the various committees set up for the event have completed their assignments.
Also speaking, Aminu Masari, who chairs the convention’s central coordinating committee, said the party is not aware of any legal challenges that could disrupt the event.

He confirmed that all 25 sub-committees involved in planning have concluded their preparations.
Masari stressed that the APC would strictly follow its zoning arrangement when selecting party officials, urging aspirants to contest only positions designated for their regions.
He warned that individuals seeking offices outside their zones could be attempting to create unrest within the party, adding that such actions would not be tolerated.
