Meanwhile, Wike recently reacted to comments surrounding his visit to the National Chairman of the APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, saying he does not believe political opponents should be treated as enemies.
Wike spoke while inspecting ongoing road projects in Karu, Apo-Karshi and Kubwa in Abuja.
During the inspection, the minister explained that his meeting with the APC chairman was a personal visit and not a political gathering as speculated in some quarters.

He stated that there was no reason for him to publicly explain every private interaction or friendship he maintains with individuals, especially relationships that existed before current political offices.
According to him, politics should not prevent people from maintaining cordial relationships. He also questioned the belief that members of different political parties must avoid one another because of political differences.
