Represented by the APC South East Zonal Chairman, Dr. Arodiogbu Ijomah, Prof. Yilwatda stated that the party would use all electoral strategies to win. He said the inauguration proved the APC’s full readiness to challenge Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s government.

The APC chairman expressed excitement over the defection of four Anambra Assembly members to the party, noting that this signals strong momentum. The party aims to win by having all its members, from the local to the unit level, actively campaign.
The APC governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, addressed the council, stating that the current government has failed to prioritize security and infrastructure in the state.
He promised to restore essential services and bring “practical governance.” Ukachukwu and his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife, have developed a blueprint to develop the state and connect it to the Federal Government.
